Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter! TEAM LiveWire...

OK everyone!!! I haven't been dj-ing a whole lot lately or doing anything else really except for playing XBOX 360 Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter. I know you are saying to yourself "damn, this dude plays a lot of games for a 25yr old...but these things now-a-days are so lifelike and creative that it is hard to resist... This game is a serious special operations marine simulation with all types of missions to conquer with your small 4-6 man team. You start by customizing your own character (choosing whether or not you want a sniper/marksman, Grenadier, Automatic Rifleman, or an all around Rifleman. In order for your team to be truly complete and battle-ready it is recommended that you have at least one of each class of soldier. Then you go into the customization of face, clothing, and protective gear you wish to wear in the field.

The absolute best part about this game is that you can go online with the XBOX 360 and make yourself a little clan so you can take on Artificial Intelligence enemies or other clans. So I have been playing online with my boy from work and we decided to make our own clan at www.gamebattles.com

The name we came up with is LiveWire. So far I am the leader, my boy gruck1683 is the co-leader. We also have 3 other members and we need just one more for now. This game is seriously time-consuming, but it is too fun to stop. Just check out the screenshots and see for yourself! Also, I just downloaded the additional content ($15) which adds 4 new co-op (online) missions and many other new features...

Jermaine Taylor Winky Wright Fight Ends In A DRAW!

Another great fight of the year was all a wash with a Draw decision! This is about the 3rd time this year a major title-fight has ended in a draw. The fight was really action packed as challenger Winky Wright (right) put pressure on Jermaine Taylor (left) through the entire night and I thought he did enough to ensure a victory. This was really a back and forth fight that was Very, Very technical. I was sitting on the couch watching this TV in High Def on the 48" screen and All I could do is squint to study what both of them was trying to do. This is the first time I wasn't really excited during the fight, but concentrating on the entire experience. Taylor threw a lot of punches but landed in only the 20 percent range. Wright was pretty much blocking everything! He may have the best defense ever seen in boxing. Wright landed more punches and threw less punches and had a 30-something connect percentage. Even if Wright did win, it would have to only be by 2 rounds maximum. It was a hard-fought close match, but Wright dictated the pace. At least this fight was free on HBO, but I have a funny feeling that the rematch will be on Pay-Per-View...most definitely.

Bernard Hopkins RIPS Antonio Tarver for the Light Heavyweight Championship!

The Fight last night was absolutely AMAZING! Bernard Hopkins got in Antonio Tarver's ASS! From beginning to end, 41-year-old Hopkins looked brilliant against Antonio Tarver. He knocked Tarver down in the 5th round and had him hurt many times throughout the fight. Hopkins said he would retire after this fight no matter what; but he was so good in this fight that it might be difficult for him to walk away. In the 11th and 12th rounds; Hopkins was sooooo smooth that Tarver couldn't even hit Hopkins. He was moving like Floyd Mayweather Jr. It was one of the best fights I have ever seen. Congradulations to Bernard Hopkins of Philly for winning the belts of the Light Heavyweight Division and beating the BEST fighter at that weight class! More pics to come!!!

Antonio Tarver Vs. Bernard Hopkins 6/10/06

Wuzzup Peoples! The fight game is back once again and Antonio Tarver (left) is putting all of his belts on the line against 40-something yr old Bernard Hopkins (right). For everyone who doesn't know...Bernard Hopkins is an all-time great middleweight boxer (154lbs) who recently lost 2 decision fights...his first losses in over 10yrs. Bernard says he will retire after this fight no matter if it is a win-lose-or-draw. Now, Antonio Tarver is the guy who knocked out Roy Jones Jr. and took his belts some time ago. Now he is trying to beat another master at work. Hopkins had to gain 20 pounds for this fight because it is going to be at 180 pounds instead of his usual 154 pounds. He is putting his whole legacy on the line by fighting Tarver. It's going to be excellent...Too bad most people will have to pay $50 to see it on Pay-Per-View, but thankfully...I work for the Comcast as an engineer, so mine will be Significantly lower... I'll definitely give you guys an update. Let's go Bernard Hopkins!!! Kick his ASS!!!!!
